JOVI Creative was established by Accoc.Prof. Dr. Jovita Sakalauskaite Akgun, as a talented artist and entrepreneur, based in Dubai, who has made significant strides in textiles and mixed media art. 

Education
2009 Master degree at the Vilnius Academy of Fine Arts, focusing on Fine and Applied Arts; 
2014 Doctor degree in Art from Dokuz Eylul University in Turkey, specializing in Design;
2018 awarded with the title of Associate Professor in Design from the Interuniversity Council in Turkey.

The most important moments of professional activity
One of her notable achievements came in 2017 when her fiber art installation at the VII Biennal Internacional de Arte Textil Contemporáneo in Uruguay received an honorable mention and is a part of the Art Collection of the World Textile Association.

2018 she was invited to share her knowledge through lectures and workshops at prestigious institutions, including the Academy of Arts and Design at Tsinghua University in Beijing and the Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts in China.

Additionally, several of her art projects are held in the art collection of the Kommagene Muze, and the archives of the Vilnius Academy of Arts and in private in countries like Turkey, Lithuania, France, Chine and the Dominican Republic .

Exhibitions
Jovita’s artistic expression has taken her around the globe. 
Since 2004, she has proudly showcased her work in international exhibitions and Art Biennale across countries such as China, Ukraine, France, Lithuania, Latvia, India, Poland, Spain, Turkey, and Uruguay.
